SAFETY BELT REMINDER

SBR is a warning device system to remind the driver and front passenger fasten the seat belt when they didn’t do that. The system consists of a sensor of detecting an unfastened safety belt and 2-level signal  of warning driver (the first level is a visual signal, and the second level is visual and audible signal).

The correct use of safety belt is the most effective protection measure for the passengers in the accident which this conclusion has been recognized by everybody. Investigations have shown that most passengers who do not fasten seat belt but can fasten it after they get properly reminder. Seat belt reminder (SBR) is used to remind these passengers to use safety belts during driving.

SBR Characteristics:

1. Thin film type(membrane)

2. Pressure triggering

3. It is possible to detect whether there is a person on the seat and the signal is outputted to the safety belt alarm device.

4. The appearance of the sensor and sensitivity of the contact point can be designed according to the shape, hardness and other requirement of the Automobile seat.

Application Field of SBR:

It is used in Automobile seat passenger perception systems, such as seat belt alarm sensors, taxi automatic taximeter, airbag sensing device, and driver's off-seat condition.
